THE COASTAL PATH

From Saint-Tropez

Take the coastal path between Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud or between Sainte-Maxime and Port Grimaud. All along this walk you will discover a range of magnificent landscapes with a diversity of natural and heritage sites.

In the past, the path was called the “sentier des Douaniers” (customs officers’ path), because originally it was the gabelous (customs officers) who walked along these paths to keep an eye on the coast.

Today, this path allows you to discover well-hidden bathing spots, unique viewpoints and also superb villas or hotels.
